Guna: Riding on the best-ever fertiliser sale of 59.37 lakh metric ton, the National Fertliser Limited (NFL) has achieved a profit (PBT) of Rs 343.46 crores during 2020-21.
The company registered a net profit of Rs 249.63 crore. The results of the company were approved by the board of directors in its meeting held on June 10, 2021.
During 2020-21, the company sold 50.10 lakh metric ton of urea, including imported urea, compared to 47.93 lakh metric ton recorded in previous year. Company also fared well in marketing of other fertilisers like DAP, MoP, NPK where a sale of 9.27 lakh metric ton was registered in 2020-21 as compared to 9.10 lakh metric ton in previous year.
The company produced 37.99 lakh metric ton of urea in its own plants situated at Vijaipur (MP), Nangal (Punjab), Bathinda (Punjab) & Panipat (Haryana) during the year by recording a capacity utilisation of 117.59 per cent as against production of 37.27 lakh metric ton during the previous year.
