Veteran actor Anupam Kher is an avid social media user and enjoys a massive fan following out there. However, recently, the actor was surprised to see that he had lost thousands of followers on Twitter in a matter of few hours. While expressing his concern over this, the veteran actor took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, 'Dear @Twitter and @TwitterIndia! I have 80,000 less followers in the last 36 hours! Is there a glitch in your app or something else is happening!!'. Further, he even clarified that he is not complaining about it but making an 'observation' as he added, 'It is an observation. Not a complaint….. yet.' His Tweet went viral on social media in no time as fans took to the comment section and shared their views about the issue. Where one of the fans confessed to similarly losing followers and wrote, 'Madarniya @Twitter and @TwitterIndia! I have around 750 less followers in the last one week! Is there a glitch in your app or something else is happening!! It is an observation. And a serious complaint.', the other one while agreeing with the actor wrote, 'Correct. A reduced number of followers shouldn't be anything more than just an observation... and not worthy of fretting over. The number of followers on social media should not be mistaken as an indication of your popularity, anyway.' Well, Kher isn't the first celebrity to experience this. Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan went through a similar situation when he lost his followers on the micro-blogging site. At that time, Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Big B even threatened to leave Twitter after losing 20,000 followers in a day. He had then tweeted, 'T 2599 - TWITTER ...!!?? you reduced my number of followees ...!!?? HAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! that's a joke.. time to get off from you...thank you for the ride...there are many 'other' fish in the sea - and a lot more exciting!!' Meanwhile, coming back to Anupam Kher, the actor will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's much-awaited film 'Sooryavanshi'.
