MP’s leaders bow to Bismil

Bhopal, June 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan led the state in paying glowing tributes to immortal revolutionary Ram Prasad Bismil on the latter’s birth anniversary on Friday.
The veteran leader quoted unforgettable lines – burning with eternal inspiration – penned by the freedom fighter who made the supreme sacrifice for the motherland at the young age of 30 years.

“Na chahoon maan duniya mein, na chahoon swarg ko jaana

Mujhe var de yehi Mata, rahoon Bharat pe deewana

Karoon main kaum ki seva, pade chahe karodon dukh

Agar phir janm loon, toh Bharat mein hi ho aana,” the senior politician conveyed via social media.

Bismil once employed the medium of ghazal to convey a message to his comrades to initiate action without delay.

“Mit gaya jab mitne waala phir salaam aaya toh kya!

Dil ki barbaadi ke baad unka payaam aaya toh kya!”

Home Minister Narottam Mishra and Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart Jyotiraditya Scindia also paid homage to the great son of India.
