Jaipur, June 11: Senior neurologist of Rajasthan Dr. Ashok Panagariya passed away on Friday in Jaipur. He was suffering from post-Covid ailments for last 48 days.
Dr. Ashok Panagariya tested Covid positive on April 24th and was admitted to the hospital the next day. Since then he was fighting with the infection. His lungs were severely damaged. He desired of taking him back home today and was on ventilator support but could not survive.
Dr Panagariya was honoured with Padma Shri and Dr BC Roy award. He was the younger brother of Dr Arvind Panagariya the former vice-chairman of the Niti Aayog.
