Medical admission 2021: Latest updates on NEET PG, NEET UG, INI CET, AIAPGET and DNB PDCET

The Ministry of Education, citing the pandemic had postponed all offline examinations scheduled in May 2021.

Higher Education Shri Amit Khare, while allowing online examinations to continue stated that the decision to conduct offline exams will be reviewed in the first week of June.

The decision about several medical entrance exams is yet to be taken. While the PG exam for NEET has been postponed, the INI CET entrance conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is scheduled for the second week of June.

We have collated a list of dates of various medical entrance exams for you:

NEET PG 2021

With no change in the COVID-19 situation in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to postpone NEET-PG for at least 4 months and the exam will not be held before 31st August 2021

NEET UG 2021

While no further decision was taken about NEET-UG, the registration for the exam which was supposed to commence from May 1 is expected to begin from the second week of June.

INI CET 2021

INI CET 2021 was originally scheduled for May 8 but was later postponed along with the NEET PG 2021, due to the pandemic. However, on May 27, the new dates were announced. The exam is now slated to be conducted on June 16, 2021.

Meanwhile, 23 MBBS doctors had filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking postponement of the Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET 2021) which is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Today the apex court heard the petition. It has directed the AIIMS to postpone the exam at least by a month, reported Live Law.

AIAPGET 2021

In the wake of rising COVID-19 cases, National Testing Agency (NTA) had postponed AIAPGET 2021 exam for three months. The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination 2021 was scheduled to be held on June 7, 2021.

DNB PDCET 2021

The exam has been postponed following the recent COVID-19 curbs issued in different parts of the country. The exam was scheduled for May 9.
