New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan relives the moments when fans expressed their love and appreciation after meeting him in person.
Big B shared an invaluable return photo from the premiere of his 1979 hit film ‘Kala Patthar’ held at Wembley, London. What according to senior Bachchan is precious to the photo is the smile of the little fan who looks excited after the actor agreed to give her an autograph.
Next to the picture, Bachchan writes, “the days are gone when fans expressed their love and appreciation like the one this little one did … so full of gratitude .. just look at her expression .. it’s just an emoji now .. ! !!!! .. if you are lucky .. ”One can also see the late legendary actor Shashi Kapoor in the candid picture. Kapoor recorded ‘Kala Patthar’ with Bachchan.
The picture built up more than 2 lakh accumulations within a few hours of being posted. Fans penetrated the comments section and expressed how they would react if they ever met the legend.
‘I’ll ever meet you, I’m going to start crying. It’s my dream to see you, ”wrote one fan.
“Happy times … She was so happy to be so close to you, sir!” another wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he will play the next role in Rumi Jaffrey’s ‘Chehre’ with Emraan Hashmi. Bachchan will also appear alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
Bachchan recently announced that he will be a part of Deepika Padukone star ‘The Intern’. The superstar replaced late actor Rishi Kapoor who was previously supposed to play the role.
The film is a remake of the Hollywood hit of the same name in 2015, starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.
Big B also has movies like ‘Jhund’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘May Day’ and several others in the pipeline.
