eClerx Services rallies 20% after robust Q4 numbers

New Delhi: Shares of hit the upper circuit during the early trade on Friday after the company posted robust growth in the net profit in March 2021 quarter.

The automation and analytics services firm reported a net profit of Rs 98.75 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2020, a rise of 78.25 per cent compared to 55.40 crore in the same quarter previous year.

Shares of eClerx Services soared 20 per cent, its upper circuit limit, at Rs 1617.35 on Friday. BSE Sensex was trading at 52,577.68, up by 277.21 points or 0.53 per cent at the time of writing this copy. The count settled at Rs 1347.80 on Thursday.
Sales of the BPO firm rose 34.73 per cent to Rs 472.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 350.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

The company has delivered over 300 per cent return in the last one year from Rs 391.50 on June 12, 2020 to Rs 1,617.35 on Friday. The counter is up by 85 per cent in 2021 so far.

For the full financial year 2020-21, net profit jumped 35.21 per cent to Rs 282.56 crore, as against Rs 208.98 crore during the previous fiscal year ended March 2020. Sales during the period rose 8.83 per cent to Rs 1564.49 crore.
