It was bound to happen: a cicada flew into a car in Cincinnati, causing the driver to crash. Though perhaps the driver shouldn't feel too bad – cicadas gunked up the engines to a plane meant to be carrying journalists covering Joe Biden's first presidential trip to Europe. If the red-eyed bugs are already causing this much havoc, what else can be blamed on them?
