Inflation sparks Cong ire in MP

Bhopal, June 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh witnessed a rash of demonstrations on Friday by the main opposition Congress’ workers in protest against spiralling fuel prices.
In the state capital, erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh – wearing a mask – himself led a sit in in the vicinity of a pump whereas local leaders and office-bearers did likewise at various district headquarters including Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar, Khandwa and Satna. The bigwigs alleged that the common man is distraught over rising costs of essentials.
