The Food Safety and Standards Authority Laboratory in Alwar determined mustard oil sold by Baba Ramdev's firm Patanjali to be substandard, according to the rajasthan government. The rajasthan government argues that mustard oil offered by Baba Ramdev's firm Patanjali is of poor quality. Singhania oil mill gave five samples of mustard oil to Patanjali, which were analysed.

 The specified standard or quality was not met by any of the five samples. On the instructions of chief minister Ashok Gehlot, officials stormed the factory two weeks ago. The mill was sealed after large amounts of Patanjali's packaging pouches and goods were found. However, Baba Ramdev has never spoken of this issue as of now.
