Lin-Manuel Miranda Wore Special Shoes To 'In The Heights' Premiere With Wife Vanessa Nadal

Lin-Manuel Miranda makes it a date night out with wife, Vanessa Nadal, at the premiere of In The Heights during the 2021 Tribeca Festival held at United Palace Theater on Wednesday night (June 9) in New York City.

The couple hit the yellow carpet with director Jon Chu and the cast of the musical movie.

Lin-Manuel and Jon even brought their dads, Luis Miranda and Lawrence Chu, for the big night out. Lin‘s mom, Luz Towns-Miranda, was also there.

Quiara Alegria Hudes, who wrote the book for the musical, also attended the premiere.

To commemorate the movie finally being released, Lin-Manuel paid tribute to the Broadway play by wearing custom tennis shoes depicting the musical’s first poster.

Vanessa even had a special clutch she wore that said “Cafe Bustelo” – the coffee brand that appears in the play and movie.
