3W networks wins contract to maintain OQ gas transportation facility

Oman's national petroleum company OQ has awarded systems integrator 3W Networks the telecom maintenance contract for its gas transportation facility. The facility of approximately 2700 kilometres consists of extraction plant, fractionation facility, storage tanks, shipping facilities, and an interconnection pipeline system. Through its Technical Assistance Centre, called 3W Care, 3W Networks will provide round-the-clock support to maintain the gas network's uninterrupted function, ensure business continuity, and minimise backbone outage restoration upon failure.
