Queen Elizabeth Receives Touching Gift in Honor of Late Husband Prince Philip's 100th Birthday

It is a very emotional time for Queen Elizabeth.

Last week, the 95-year-old Queen of England received a deep pink rose that was created in honor of her late husband Prince Philip‘s 100th birthday.

On Wednesday (June 9), the rose was planted in a the mixed rose border at the East Terrace Garden at Windsor Castle, which Prince Philip helped transform.

Prince Philip would have been turning 100-years-old on Thursday, June. A palace source told People that Queen Elizabeth will be spending the day “privately.”

Prince Philip sadly passed away back on April 9 at the age of 99. He and Queen Elizabeth had been married for 43 years.

During a recent public event, Queen Elizabeth honored her late husband in a sweet and subtle way.
