Panama postpones analogue switch-off in first 3 provinces

Panama's public services authority ASEP has again postponed plans to switch off the analogue signal in three of the country's most highly-populated regions without setting a new date for the blackout. The country was due to cut off the signal on 01 June in the provinces of Panama, Panama West and Colon, which together account for some 60 percent of the country's TV homes, but said the conditions established by the regulations to proceed with the switch-off are not in place.
