June 14 will mark the first anniversary of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The actor, who was found hanging in his Bandra home in Mumbai is still missed dearly by all that loved him - his sisters, father, relatives, friends and his huge army of fans. He is no more in our midst but he lives on in the memories of fans, anecdotes shared by his loved ones and his biggest legacy of all - his films. The actor, who started his acting journey on the small screen with 'Pavitra Rishta' made a transition to the big screen over time. He was a part of many memorable films including 'PK', 'Kai Po Che', 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', among countless others. While he was without a doubt a great actor, we got to know only much later that Sushant never failed in any audition. This was shared by director Mukesh Chhabra post the actor's sudden demise last year. Sharing a post to remember the late actor's journey in films, Mukesh's team had shared a special video. The video also featured a clip of Sushant's audition for Anushka Sharma and Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK'. The caption of the clip read, 'Sushant Singh Rajput A boy who never failed in any auditions, touched millions of hearts with his talent on screen and decided to stay forever in our hearts... Here’s a tribute from Team MCCC to #SushantSinghRajput and his journey, which will be forever cherished and celebrated. Rest in Love #SushantSinghRajput.' In the audition clip, Sushant is seen dressed in a formal shirt as he delivers his dialogue. The clipping is followed by the same scene from the film. Notwithstanding his unmatched talent, Sushant was one of the most hardworking actors of his generation. For the movie, 'Detective Bymokesh Bakshy', Sushant stopped using electronic gadgets as his movie was situated in the year 1942. He also changed his lifestyle. For 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', he practised for nine months every day until he aced Dhoni's signature shots. While preparing for 'Kedarnath' where he played the role of a 'pithoo', he refused to use a body double even when his character had to carry someone with around 60 kilos every day for the entire shoot up and down for more than 10 days. And so, he trained for the role on a treadmill with a sandbag. He is no more today and the void he left behind may never be filled. Remembering him, his friends, family and fans are often overwhelmed with bittersweet emotions. Presently, three central agencies, namely, CBI, ED, NCB are investigating different angles surrounding his death.
