Indore: In a tragic incident, a 7-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a recklessly driven car in front of his mother in Tejaji Nagar area on Thursday evening. He was returning home with his mother and two other women when the accident happened. The police have registered a case against the vehicle driver and started an investigation.
According to Tejaji Nagar police station staff, the accident took place on RTO Road in Patthhar Mundala at around 4 pm. The deceased, identified as Riyaz son of Mohammad Abdul, had gone to a dargah with his mother and two other women. They were returning home when the car hit Riyaz from the rear. He got critically injured and was rushed to a hospital but he could not be saved.
The incident happened in front of her mother and she is now in a state of shock. After the incident, the driver stopped there and helped take the child to the hospital. It is said that the family members of the deceased are from Rajasthan and they were staying in the city for the past few years. The police are investigating the case.
