Hey, want to ask something. Everytime i see someone on youtube, even my friends doing shakes/oats or anything, they use almond/cashew/oat milk. Nobody uses normal cow milk. Even when they do a lot of cheatmeals, they just dont drink milk. My question is, if its because lactose, or is milk bad in any way ? I mean it has casein+whey, which is good, lactose (if you intolerant then its ok, but if lactose is not problem, its just sugar right ?) and little bit or even zero fat. With my oats and protein shake, i drink daily like 0,5 litre of milk and it gives me plenty of protein and carbs, so what is the deal ? Ty for answer

I like milk and find it nutritionally valuable, just usually prefer it in cereal or as an added ingredient. Usually don't prefer it as a beverage by itself for a reason I can't really communicate, even though I do like to use it in protein shakes.
Good question though - I observe this a lot too. It's probably a combination of legitimate lactose intolerance in some and trendy 'veganness.'Bench: 315
