COVID: Breathlessness takes lives of 5 in HP's Kangra even as 70 suffer

Dharamshala, Jun 10 (UNI) Five male senior citizens died in Kangra district on Thursday due to lethal novel Coronavirus taking death toll to 995.
As many as 70 Covid 19 fresh cases tested positive for the lethal novel coronavirus, here pushing the Kangra district case load to 44899.
Chief Medical Officer Kangra told UNI that all the 70 fresh cases who have tested positive Thursday have been isolated as per the protocol.
Five people who died Thursday were all senior citizens.
He said three deaths was reported from Dr. Rajinder Prasad Govt Medical college Tanda, one from Zonal Hospital Dharamshala and an 81 year old male died in home isolation at Shyam Nagar Dharamshala.
CMO said there was decline in the number of active cases to 1374 on Thursday in comparison to 1466 on Wednesday.
CMO said there were 153 recoveries too, pushing the number of recovered patients to 42526 on Thursday as compared to 42373 on Wednesday.
