UP workers from anganwadi must be armed with smartphones

Lucknow: About four Anganwadi workers in Uttar Pradesh will get smartphones to improve their efficiency and the state government will also train them to use the devices.

A training plan has already been drawn up for this.

According to the government spokesperson, Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials concerned to ensure their deployment to help those essential to the implementation of women and child welfare schemes in rural areas.

The Anganwadi workers, working in the field to facilitate issues concerning women and children regarding health and nutrition, were an important tool in the Minister’s plan, including the effective implementation of Corona control.
