Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee released from hospital after completely recovering from COVID-19.

After being in isolation for a week in Merryland hospital, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and his wife Mira went home on Wednesday after being completely recovered.

According to the treating doctors, the antibody test of the former West Bengal Chief Minister was done and after getting a satisfactory report Buddhadeb was released.

“Since Buddhadeb is an active COPD patient he will be continuously monitored by the doctor team, otherwise he is completely recovered,” mentioned the doctors.

Notably, on June 1 the former West Bengal Chief Minister and his wife both are discharged from the Woodlands hospital as both have recovered from covid.

The doctors also confirmed that due to lack of people to take care of the former West Bengal Chief Minister and his wife the duo will be admitted in Merryland hospital for a week.

Notably, after being covid positive, the former West Bengal Chief Minister was treated at home and on May 25, after complaining of breathlessness Buddhadeb was admitted in Woodlands hospital and on the same day due to a panic attack, his wife Mira Bhattacharjee was also admitted in the same hospital.
