    Guar seed futures decline on low demand

    Synopsis

    On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for the June delivery were trading at Rs 4,131, down by Rs 83, or 1.97 per cent per 10 quintals with an open interest of 48,845 lots.

    NEW DELHI: Guar seed prices on Wednesday went down by Rs 83 to Rs 4,131 per 10 quintal in the futures trade.

    On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for the June delivery were trading at Rs 4,131, down by Rs 83, or 1.97 per cent per 10 quintals with an open interest of 48,845 lots.

    Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
