YouTube Shorts launched in LatAm, Canada, UK

Google has announced the geographic expansion of its YouTube Shorts beta service to Latin America, Canada and the UK. First launched in the US earlier this spring and subsequently extended to India, the TikTok rival service allows users to create short videos of up to 60 seconds directly from their smartphones. Creators can use tools to record the short video segments with a tap, as well as select the video's backing music or sound and access a range of in-app editing features.
