Stock market movers: Top 10 winners and losers on BSE, NSE on June 9

Sensex tanked 334 points on Wednesday, tracking heavy losses in index heavyweights Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and L&T amid a weak trend in global markets.

The 30-share BSE index ended 333.93 points or 0.64 percent lower at 51,941.64. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty slumped 104.75 points or 0.67 percent to 15,635.35.

L&T was the top loser in the Sensex pack, shedding around 2 percent, followed by Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, SBI, Maruti, Axis Bank and Bajaj Auto.

On the other hand, PowerGrid, NTPC, Titan, HCL Tech and Asian Paints were among the gainers.

Sensex gainers

  1. PowerGrid: The stock was the top gainer in the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day high of Rs 245.50 before closing at Rs 242, up 8 points or 3.42 percent.

  2. NTPC: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 121 before closing at Rs 118.15, up 2 points or 1.72percent.

  3. Titan: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 1,738.45 before closing at Rs 1,729.60, up 16.85 points or 0.98 percent.

  4. HCL Tech: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 965 before closing at Rs 971.85, up 4.80 points or 0.50 percent.

  5. Asian Paints: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 2,964.95 before closing at Rs 2,941, up 12.90 points or 0.44 percent.

Sensex losers

  1. Larsen and Toubro: The stock was the top loser in the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day low of Rs 1,513.75 before closing at Rs 1518.70, down 27.90 points or (-)1.80 percent

  2. Reliance: The stock touched an intra day low of 2,158.25 before closing at Rs 2,174.75, down 39.95 points or 1.80 percent.

  3. Bajaj Finserv: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 11,432.90

    before closing at Rs 11,560, down 170.85 points or (-)1.46 percent.

  4. IndusInd Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 997.60 before closing at Rs 1005.40, down 14.65 points or (-)1.44 percent.

  5. Bajaj Finance: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 5,626.25 before closing at Rs 5,674.15, down 82.35 points or (-)1.43 percent.

Nifty50 gainers

  1. PowerGrid:The top gainer in Nifty50. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 257.45 per piece before closing at Rs 243.25 per piece, 9.20 points up or 3.93 per cent.

  2. SBI Life: It touched an intraday high of Rs 1,077.80 to close at Rs 997, up 17.15 points or 1.75 percent.

  3. NTPC: The stock touched intraday high of Rs 127.80 to close at Rs 118, up 1.80 points or 1.55 percent.

  4. Titan: The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 1,883.75 before closing at Rs 1,727.50 per piece, up 15 points or 0.88 percent.

  5. Coal India: It touched an intra-day high of Rs 171.60 to close at Rs 157.20 up 1.20 points or 0.77percent up.

Nifty50 losers

  1. Tata Motors: It is the top loser in the Nifty50. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 317.50 to close at Rs 343.55 per share, down 9.20 points or (-) 2.61percent.

  2. Adani Ports: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 786.80 per piece to close at Rs 853 per share, down 21.20 points or (-) 2.43 percent.

  3. Shree Cement: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 26,059.85 per share to close at Rs 28,370.90, down by 584.45 points or (-) 2.02 percent.

  4. Larsen & Toubro: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,394.25 per share to close Rs 1,520.80 per share, down 28.35 points or (-) 1.83 percent.

  5. Reliance Industries Limited: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,993.15 per share to close at Rs 2,178, down 36.60 points or (-) 1.65 percent.
