The 30-year-old SI Swimsuit model confirmed that she’s expecting her first child with husband Kyle Peterson later this year, People reported on Wednesday (June 9).

The couple is expecting a baby girl in early December, and they found out “pretty early” when she took a pregnancy test after feeling “just not feeling quite like myself.”

“I felt a little tired. I was a little bloated. I actually just had a test in my drawer and I was like, ‘I’m just going to take this. I have a weird feeling that this is potentially going to be positive.’”

She said finding out “was totally like in the movies.”

“I ran to CVS and bought 20 different kinds of pregnancy tests and I took all of them. I was like, ‘Okay, I really, really am pregnant,’” she said, adding that she “blurted it out when [Kyle] walked through the door.”

Emily and Kyle tied the knot back in 2018.

“Something special coming December 2021 💞 It was so hard to keep this a secret! So excited to share with all of you that I am pregnant with a baby girl! Anyone else on here pregnant as well? Comment below! 🤰🏻 Can’t wait to share this journey with all of you! ❤️” she wrote on Instagram.
