Mamelodi Sundowns veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango is anticipating a "good game of football" when his native country Uganda visits South Africa for an international friendly against Bafana Bafana on Thursday.
The East Africans will take on a relatively young Bafana Bafana outfit at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, with the match scheduled to kick-off at 18:00 in the evening.
Onyango, who notched up 86 caps for the Cranes, called time on his international football career at the start of the year to focus on club football.
He recently won a DStv Premiership winners' medal with the Brazilians last weekend.
Speaking to the media ahead of the match during a Sundowns event, Onyango said he was aware that both teams have new coaches, which serves for an interesting encounter.
"I believe it is going to be a good game of football because they are all young players," said the 36-year-old.
"I saw Bafana Bafana called up a lot of youngsters and Uganda are also trying to build for the future. I anticipate a good game.
"I hope I make it to the stadium. I want to support. I want to be there and get a feeling of supporting a game."
The former SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces shot stopper has played his domestic football in South Africa for 15 years as he heads towards the twilight of his playing days.
However, he was not prepared to give any tips to Uganda about the South African players they are about to face.
"It is not in my position to give them tips about South Africa because I am not the coach," said Onyango.
"The coach must analyse the game by himself. My job is to support them and encourage them to at least get a draw or a win against Bafana Bafana.
"These are two new coaches as well, I just hope the game is good."
