South West Monsoon further advances into some parts of Telangana

Hyderabad, Jun 9 (UNI) South West Monsoon further advanced into some parts of Telangana, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.
In a bulletin here, it said that Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into entire central and some parts of north Arabian Sea, entire Konkan including Mumbai and most parts of interior Maharashtra, some parts of south Gujarat region, some more parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, most parts of central Bay of Bengal and some more parts of North Bay of Bengal today.
Southwest Monsoon is likely to advance into remaining parts of Arabian Sea and Maharashtra, some more parts of Gujarat, remaining parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, entire West Bengal, Bihar and parts of east Uttar Pradesh during the next 2-­3 days.
A cyclonic circulation lies over East Central and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal between 4.5 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.
Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over North Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood around June 11. it is likely to be more marked during subsequent 24 hours.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30- 40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days.
Extremely heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at few places in the districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Peddapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Jangaon of Telangana on June 12 and 13, the bulletin said.
