Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Wednesday amended the timing of the Hyderabad metro with a view to COVID-19 exclusion in the state, which was extended by ten days. Hyderabad Metro will now run its train between 07:00 and 18:00 from 10 June.
In a statement by the government, “With a view to extending the exclusion by the Telangana government, the timing of the Hyderabad Metro Rail service has been rescheduled.”
“During this period, Hyderabad Metro Rail will start its first train from the various terminal stations at 7 o’clock; while the last train will start at 17:00 and end at 18:00 at the various terminals, ”reads the statement.
Further government has asked people using the metro services to strictly follow it COVID-19 Safety guidelines, including social removal, wearing face masks, frequent hand disinfection and among others.
Passengers are asked to work with security staff and staff of Hyderabad Metro Rail in their efforts to keep their journey safe.
