Hyderabad: After the behavior has been postponed due to the increase in COVID-19 affairs in the state, the government of Telangana on Wednesday announced its decision to cancel exams for second-year students.
A decision on the lifting of the examinations was taken during the state cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in which various issues were discussed, ranging from exclusion, agriculture, the state’s financial situation to education.
The decision to cancel the second-year examination follows the fact that the Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE) canceled the Class 12 council earlier last week.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate (TSBIE) has decided to postpone all mid-term examinations for second-year students proposed to be held between 1 and 19 May. An overview of the situation will be held in the first week of June and future dates with at least 15 days notice for the exams will be announced, ”said the department of higher education.
