Ranchi, Jun 9 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid his floral tributes to Bhagwan Birsa Munda on the occasion of his 121st death anniversary.
The Chief Minister garlanded the portrait of Bhagwan Birsa Munda who had staged 'Ulgulan' against the exploitation and atrocities of the Britishers.
He said that it is a matter of great pride that such brave men have shown the path to the state. He said that there was a need to follow the path which has been showing by Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
Hemant Soren said that his government is committed to making Jharkhand as per the dreams of Bhagwan Birsa Munda as by following his ideals and thoughts a prosperous Jharkhand will be made.
The Chief Minister said that for the poor and exploited Bhawan Birsa Munda laid down his life and also played his leading role in the fight against British rule. He said that the nation can never forget his sacrifice and his sacrifice, dedication will continue to inspire the people.
Hemant Soren said that Dharti Abba had also worked to remove the social evils prevailing in the tribal society and by drawing inspiration from him, Coronavirus has to be removed from the state.
Cabinet Minister Satyanand Bhokta, MLA Dipika Pandey Singh and others also paid their tributes to Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
