Latehar, Jun 9 (UNI) An employee of the railways died after falling from a tree at the Tori Junction of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Phulchand Mahto (35). He was posted as a helper in Latehar TRD. Police said that a branch of a tree was creating an obstruction in the signals and Mahto had climbed on the tree to cut the branch.
However, he lost balance and ended up falling from the tree. The fellow workers took him to Chandwa community health care centre where he was declared dead by the doctors. The man originally hailed from the Dhanbad district.
