Will this training routine build size?

Just starting out with limited time due to work. looking at doing compound workouts for gaining weight and mass. The days i have for training are Wed, Thur and Sunday. This is the the routine i will be doing.

    StrongLifts 5×5

Wed: Squat, Bench Press, Barbell Row
    Thur: Squat, Overhead Press, Deadlift
Sun: (full workout) Squat, Bench Press, Barbell Row, Overhead Press, Deadlift

Also adding about 2,5kg/5lb every week.

Like i said im just starting out not been in the gym for over 25 years im 51 years old just wanting to mainly put some weight on and build some mass.

Thanks for your time to answer and help out.

Stronglifts works ok. On your Sunday I'd do a deadlift variation instead of heavy 5x5. I don't recall exactly what's prescribed.

You probably won't go wrong with that even if the programming for straight 5x5s every time is most likely less than ideal.

If you're squatting, deadlifting, rowing and OHPing consistently at all just getting back into the routine, you've got more discipline than most for sure!
    Bench: 315
    Squat: 335
    Deadlift: 475

"... But always, there remained, the discipline of steel!"
