    Wall Street started Wednesday's session on a mixed note amid a lack of clear catalysts that kept trading slow. Investors awaited fresh cues from inflation data this week and an upcoming Federal Reserve meeting.

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 24.83 points, or 0.07%, in early deals to 34,574.99.

    The S&P 500 rose 4.16 points, or 0.10%, to 4,231.42.
    The Nasdaq Composite rose 47.39 points, or 0.34%, to 13,972.30.
