Hyderabad: The party leadership of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) seems to be focusing on Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy after the action against former Health Minister Eatala Rajender.
According to a report published in the Deccan Chronicle, it all started after unpleasant comments were made in an event organized by Jagadish Reddy. The remarks were against KCR, its leadership and increasing family domination in the party.
It was the birthday of Jagadish Reddy’s son when four TRS MLAs not only discussed political issues but also predicted that Eatala would start a new party if KCR’s son KTR was appointed as prime minister of Telangana. One of the MLAs also sang a song about it.
Jagadish Reddy, who was present, did not reprimand or stop them. He rather decided to keep quiet.
Eventually, the video reached CMO.
The rift between Rajendar and TRS also began due to his comments against the management style of KCR. He made the remarks last year in Bengaluru. Later, he continued his remarks against the government and KCR. Finally, KCR decided to remove Rajendra from the post of Health Minister.
In the case of Jagadish Reddy, when the matter came out at the CMO, he gave explanation and said that it was a birthday party of his son and that there is not much discussion about politics.
It is also reported that KCR is keeping abreast of developments in political circles. The state information also reports every political activity to KCR.
It remains to be seen whether the party will take action against Jagadish Reddy, or whether the case will be resolved.
