BHOPAL: Only two out of 52 districts-Bhopal and Indore-have active cases in the range of 1,000-2,000, while only one district, Jabalpur, has active cases in the range of 500-1,000. Indore has reported active cases numbering 1,206, while Bhopal has active cases numbering 1,985 and Jabalpur has active cases numbering 556.
Fourteen districts have active cases in the range of 100-500. The districts are Sheopur (113), Shajapur (234), Neemuch (118), Damoh (259), Rajgarh (194), Mandsaur (108), Raisen (101), Anuppur (137), Betul (181), Khargone (127), Sagar (202), Ratlam (391), Ujjain (131) and Gwalior (223).
Madhya Pradesh reported 0.7 per cent corona-positive rate on Tuesday. The state reported 535 corona cases with the infection tally up to 786,302 and toll up to 8,405. The number of active cases reduced to 7,983. Around 75,982 samples were sent for testing, while 154 samples were rejected. Around 1,376 Covid patients were discharged.
Besides, as far the number of corona cases is concerned, Indore reported 179 corona cases and its tally rose to 151,951 and toll to 1,360. Bhopalís corona cases number 122,606 with the toll registering 958.
Six districtsóKatni, Singrauli, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Alirajpur and Bhindóreported zero corona cases each with their active cases at 14, 39, 13, 39, 0 and 15, respectively.
Five districts- Vidisha, Sehore, Morena, Sheopur and Ashok Nagar -reported just one corona case each and their active cases are 48, 82, 61, 113 and 73, respectively.
Nine districts-Burhanpur, Khandwa, Guna, Umaria, Seoni, Jhabua, Dewas, Barwani and Narsingpur- reported two corona cases each and their active cases registered 11, 14, 77, 69, 98, 30, 43, 82 and 50, respectively.
