Conditions across the country will be partly cloudy and cool on Wednesday, according to the South African Weather Service.

Gauteng will be cool in the north, otherwise cloudy and cold with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga will be warm in the lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool, becoming cloudy in the west with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south-west.

In Limpopo, it will be partly cloudy and cold to cool becoming cloudy in the west with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south-west.

The North West will be cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west. It will become partly cloudy in the evening.

In the Free State it will be cloudy and cold to cool with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, spreading to the east in the evening.

The Northern Cape will be partly cloudy in the west, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with light rain in the morning, but isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the north-east. It will become partly cloudy in the evening.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-easterly, freshening at times in the afternoon.

Morning fog is expected along the coast on the Western Cape, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm over the eastern interior.

Isolated morning showers are expected in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will be fine and cool, but warm in the south, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly becoming easterly by late afternoon.

The eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be fine and cool becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north.

The wind along the coast will be light northwesterly becoming northeasterly from afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal will be partly cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon and evening showers and rain in the extreme north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly, becoming fresh at times in the afternoon.
