Meanwhile, in neighbouring Sangli district, 966 fresh Covid-19 patients and 30 deaths were reported in a single day today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 1,24,615 and the toll to 3,597, respectively.
On the other hand, 976 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking overall count of recoveries to 1,11,554.
There are now 9,464 active cases in the district, an official report said.
