Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has been recognized as a Leader in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix for Intelligent Process Automation (IPA). The report highlights TCS’ Business 4.0™ framework that combines digital technologies such as automation, analytics, cloud, and AI to fulfill the growth and transformation agenda of enterprises.

TCS’ capability to enable clients to scale up automation through its as-a-service offering model, demonstrated contextual knowledge, consulting services, and diversified portfolio of proprietary and packaged solutions, were highlighted as strengths. According to the report, customers see TCS’ Machine First Delivery Model (MFDM) that augments human capability with machines to drive outcomes, as a key differentiator.

“We are witnessing an era of accelerated digital transformation where enterprises are making a big leap in embracing next gen technology. Intelligent automation becomes the pivot, unlocking the true potential of existing and emerging technologies as well as elevating the role of technology from enablers to growth drivers,” said Ashok Pai, Global Head, Cognitive Business Operations, TCS.

“Adopting a Machine First-led human machine collaboration approach helps enterprises achieve exponential business outcomes across the dimensions of revenue, resilience, adaptability, experience, loyalty, and brand equity.”

The company said in a filing on Monday that TCS’ IPA offerings leverage MFDM and cover enterprise business process automation consulting, assessments, solutioning, implementation and support. MFDM gives technology the first right of refusal and increases human-machine collaboration. Its future-proof architecture helps enterprises leverage the power of new technologies from the ever-expanding digital ecosystem.

TCS’ IPA solutions cover the entire automation technology range spanning robotic process automation to cognitive processing of workflows, languages, documents, images, and conversations. This includes an overarching layer of AI and ML solutions around a data foundation that supports analytics and decision making.

These IPA solutions are designed to cater to all stakeholders and multiple process areas such as finance and accounting, procurement, HR, supply chain, customer experience, as well as industry-specific processes like utilities meter to cash, banking onboarding and KYC, telecom order to activate and churn management, telecom customer retention, airline baggage tracking, and passenger experience.
