Open Fiber activates gigabit fibre in Nola

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber said the first commercial fibre-optic offers using its network are now available in the town of Nola in the southern Campania region. Just two months after the company started installing the 102 km of cabling via a total of investment of EUR 4 million, residents living in a total of 11,000 premises can now sign up to FTTH connections at download speeds of up to 1Gbps.
