'Nothing to be afraid of Uddhav Thackeray-PM Modi meeting; no threat to MVA': NCP
The Shiv Sena and NCP on Tuesday said the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government will complete its full term of five years with NCP state president Jayant Patil saying there is nothing to be "afraid" about a separate meeting that took place between Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday led a delegation of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss around a dozen important pending issues concerning the state, officials said here.
To a question whether he met the PM separately, Thackeray shot back: "We may not be together politically... That doesn't mean we have severed our links. I didn't go to meet Nawaz Sharif. So there's nothing wrong if I met him (PM) privately."
Bombay HC cancels caste certificate of Amravati MP Navneet Rana
The Bombay High Court on Tuesday cancelled the caste certificate issued to Amravati Lok Sabha member Navneet Kaur Rana, saying it was obtained fraudulently using fabricated documents, and directed her to surrender it within six weeks.
A division bench of Justices R D Dhanuka and V G Bisht also imposed a cost of Rs 2 lakh, which she needs to pay to the Maharashtra Legal Services Authority within a period of two weeks.
