CM gives nod for construction of multi-super speciality hospital in chest hospital premises : Minister


Hyderabad, Jun 8 (UNI) Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has agreed in principle for the construction of a Multi-Super Specialty Hospital in the premises of Chest Hospital in Erragadda, here.

Mr Yadav, who enquired the details about the land availability in Chest Hospital with its Superintendent Dr Mahabub Khan said, soon Health Secretary Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi and Director Medical Education (DME) will visit the hospital and submit their report in this regard to the Chief Minister, a release here said.

“If the hospital is constructed, the people from the Assembly constituencies of Kukatpally, Sherlingampally, Patancheruvu, Jubilee Hills, Sanathnagar will be benefited”, the Minister said.

He said, of the 62 acres of land, the Chest Hospital is constructed in 18 acres of land and the remaining 44 acres of land is left to construct the Multi-Super Specialty Hospital.

Once the multi-super speciality hospital is constructed with modern facilities, the rush of patients to the Gandhi Hospital , NIMS and Osmania General Hospital will be reduced, the Minister added.
