The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel has announced the appointment of new Executive Chef, Chris Hill. Within his new role, Hill will oversee operations at Adam Handling Chelsea restaurant and bar, Cadogan’s by Adam Handling and the hotel’s private and in-room dining.
The new Executive Chef boasts a rich and diverse culinary background, including both classic cooking and modern techniques and has the expertise to deliver a luxury experience in all food and beverage departments of the hotel. With an impressive CV spanning 18 years of experience within the industry, Hill has worked in some of the most celebrated kitchens and hotels across the UK and Europe. Prior to joining The Cadogan, Hill’s experience includes working for The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Chrsitian Jürgens 3 Michelin Star restaurant in Germany.
Having achieved the Master of Culinary Arts Award and being named amongst the UK’s national selection for the Bocuse d’Or in 2017, Hill went on to spend 5 years at Whatley Manor, where he worked his way up to Sous Chef. It was in this role where he played a vital part in the team achieving two Michelin stars, following which he joined The Ritz, where he worked for two years as Premier Sous Chef.
