MUMBAI: Yami Gautam has been on a spree of sharing photos from her intimate wedding with Aditya Dhar in Himachal Pradesh. The actress has once again sent the internet into a meltdown with a new photo that seems to have been clicked right after her wedding with Aditya. In the new photo, Yami can be seen beaming with joy as she flaunts sindoor in a traditional bridal look with her gold jewellery. The actress seemed to be glowing and well, fans loved every bit of it. 

Taking to Instagram, Yami shared the photo as she welcomed the new season. Her caption reads as, “Rind posh maal gindane draaye lo lo. Let’s welcome the spring season.” As soon as Yami shared the photo, celebs started dropping comments and many loved her look. Vikrant Massey, Tahira Kashyap were all hearts for her traditional bride look. However, her sister Surilie Gautam seemed to express her wish to dance on the number that Yami mentioned in her caption. She wrote, “I’m yet to give a dance performance on this song.” 

NEW DELHI: Actor Kubbra Sait is known to be vocal about the causes that she supports, right from women’s rights to support for the LGBTQIA community. Putting her social media platform to optimal use, Kubbra has now curated an interactive online session called LGBTQIA+ For Dummies wherein she will interview 4 prominent members from the community.

Sait will ask them 2 questions: what is the most frequent question people ask you & what’s the question that you wish people to ask you. The sessions went live on her social media on 5th June with the debut guest being filmmaker Onir. Speaking on why she initiated this interesting and need of the hour concept, Kubbra said that, “The love we received from the community has always overwhelmed me and left me at a loss of words. The thought behind this concept was to normalise the fact that I’m a dummy when it comes to know more about the community. I often make mistakes with pronouns. I also unintentionally make mistakes by making a comment which is not correct or doesn’t fit with the guidelines of the community.”

She affirms that “I think homophobia is a state of mind. It is a conditioning, the films in the 1990s or even the early 2000s used to have a gay joke thrown in just for the sake of laughs, I don’t think that was okay. We need to develop a tune in our minds against discrimination when it comes to how we talk to and about the queer community. I’ll correct somebody if they don’t fully understand the concept or make an initiative where I actually reach out to people. The community is so strong in their own skin and they’re already doing enough. We just need to stand there and support them and be in solidarity with them at the least. It’s their time to shine.” The sessions will also see Durga Gawde, Luna and Sushant Divgikr this month, which is also known as the Pride Month giving rise to the reason why Kubbra chose to host them now.

NEW DELHI: Tom Hiddleston is a very popular actor not only in Hollywood, but he has a huge fan following in India as well. The actor, who is known for his role as Loki, has often talked about his fondness for India as well. However, interestingly, his movies and his Indian fans are not the only connection he has with our country. not many know this but Hiddleston has a sister living in India. In an old interview, the Loki actor has talked about his sister living in India and how he often visits the country. In the interview which dates back to 2012, the actor had revealed that his sister lives in Chennai and she was the one who introduced him to several bollywood movies, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai bachchan’s Devdas.

Hiddleston had said, “I have family in India. My sister stays in Chennai and I’ve been to India about four times so far. The last time I came was in October last year (2011)… I came very quietly just to see my sister. I love it there.” apart from Chennai, he has had a chance to visit places like Puducherry and Mahabalipuram as well.

“My Indian family is always introducing me to new films. My sister made me see Devdas that had aishwarya rai. The last film I saw was Shah rukh Khan’s My name Is Khan on an airplane. I loved it,” added the actor. He also expressed his desire to star in a bollywood film during the same interview.

On the work front, Tom Hiddleston will be seen in Loki, which is one of the many MCU projects that were announced last year. The series will give us an insight into the life of one of the most notorious villains in the MCU universe. Loki will premiere on Disney Plus on 9 June.

NEW DELHI: Remembering his late legendary father Sunil Dutt on his 92nd birth anniversary, actor Sanjay Dutt penned down an emotional note with a childhood picture featuring him with the veteran superstar. The ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ actor took to Twitter to post a candid monochrome picture in which Sanjay’s dotting father is holding his hands while both are seen smiling. “Always holding my hand through thick and thin. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!” Sanjay Dutt wrote in the caption. Sunil Dutt, who began his Bollywood career in the 50s, is remembered for his performances in films like ‘Mother India’, ‘Sujata’, ‘Waqt’ and ‘Padosan.’

He got married to Nargis during the time their film ‘Mother India’ was about to be released. In 2005, the legendary actor passed away after a heart attack in his Mumbai home, two weeks prior to his 76th birthday. Meanwhile, on the work front, the ‘Kalank’ star who was last seen in ‘Sadak 2’ with Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor, awaits the release of action-drama ‘K.G.F Chapter 2’, and action-adventure ‘Shamshera’ in which he will be seen in the lead role alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. He also has Aditya Chopra’s ‘Prithviraj’ that will also feature Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar in the pipeline.

MUMBAI : Video streaming company Netflix will set up its first live-action post-production facility globally in Mumbai in 2022, the company has announced. In a press release, the streamer said the live-action and full-service facility will be operational by June next year. According to Netflix, the facility will pioneer advanced media management workflows that will allow a seamless partnership with India’s post-production community.

It will have 40 offline editing rooms designed as a flexible, collaborative and inspiring environment for show runners, directors, editors and sound designers to create their best work. Since its launch in India, the streamer has made strategic forays into the entertainment scene and doled out original programming in almost every major language. Some of its successful original shows and films include “Sacred Games”, “Delhi Crime”, “Guilty”, “Ludo”, “Bulbbul”, “Pagglait”, “Lust Stories”, “Choked”, “AK vs AK” and “Paava Kadhaigal”.

The content slate of originals Netflix India will be coming up with this year include 13 movies, 15 series including season two renewals , four documentaries, 3 reality shows, as well as 6 comedy specials. “India, we are still figuring things out. And so that investment takes some guts and belief forward-looking,” Reed Hasting, Co-Founder, Netflix, said during a post earnings call. 

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday after he complained of breathing issues. After experiencing breathlessness, Dilip Kumar was taken to the hospital early morning on Sunday. Doctors are treating him and few tests have been done and waiting for reports.

A tweet was issued from Dilip Kumar’s official handle, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital, Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.” The legendary actor was hospitalised last month and was discharged later.
