McAfee ordered to refund UK customers after auto-renewal investigation

The UK competition regulator has ordered McAfee to refund some customers whose security subscriptions auto-renewed and also make it easier for customers to turn off the auto-renewal. This is the result of an investigation launched in 2018 by the Competition and Markets Authority into the anti-virus software sector.
