After ruling the small screen, Mrunal Jain is now gearing up for the release of his film Sooryavanshi, which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The actor says, “I always wanted to be an automobile engineer, design cars and be among cars. But it all started in 2007 when I first walked the ramp and became a model. It was my mom’s dream to see me on screen, and that’s how acting became my passion.”

The actor made his television debut with Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki in 2008, and has so far featured in eight shows, including Bandini, Hitler Didi, Uttaran and Bandhan, to name a few. He was also seen in three Bollywood movies and a web series titled 26 January.

Meanwhile, Mrunal will soon start working on Azra Syed-produced web series based on the Rohtak sisters’ incident. The show will be directed by Manoj Singh and will see the actor playing the central character.
