Sharmila Reddy criticizes KCR over vaccination in Telangana

Hyderabad: YS Sharmila Reddy, daughter of former Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister YSRajshekhar Reddy criticized Telangana Prime Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao over the vaccination in the state. She claims that the state government stopped administering the first dose last month COVID-19 vaccine in all government-run hospitals.

The leader said she was shocked that the residents of Telangana could not get the vaccines developed by the pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech, which is based in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, the state health department said in its bulletin that the state of Telangana recorded the past 24 hours on Sunday 1436. This takes the active case load to 27,016 in the state.

14 deaths were recorded with 3614 patients recovered.

India authorized three coronavirus vaccines. Covaxin is developed by Bharat Biotech, Covishield is manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII) and Sputnik V is developed by Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russia.
