Hyderabad: The one week average of fresh COVID-19 Cases in Telangana, which fluctuate between 2,000 and 2,400, are expected to drop further and be close to an average of 1,500 infections by 10 June, mathematical projections from SUTRA, developed by researchers from IIT Kanpur and IIT Hyderabad, indicated .
According to SUTRA’s forecasts, daily affairs will fall by 587 cases per day by June. The daily figures, as announced by the government, are updated sutra-india.in and a mathematical model is used to make this prediction.
SUTRA was able to give projections with precision with the mathematical projection model. As of June 6, the mathematical model predicted that Telangana would detect 1834 new COVID-19 infections, while the actual average of seven days was 2,191.
The SUTRA model, developed by Manindra Agrawal of IIT Kanpur, M Vidyasagar of IIT Hyderabad and M Kanitkar of integrated defense personnel, also gradually predicted the reduction of new infections across the country in June.
Based on current trends, the researchers said that there is an opportunity for many Indian states to facilitate the closure in the coming days. They pointed out that as long as people continue with appropriate COVID-19 behavior, lockouts in several states can be facilitated or even lifted, said Vidyasagar, the researcher at IIT Hyderabad.
