‘Once the pandemic occurred, we realized that our unit for medical devices might not work in the long run, and on the other hand, we saw that many physiotherapists were struggling to find work. With all this in mind, we thought of launching a platform for physiotherapists that will help them get career guidance, be trained and also help them gain knowledge about the emerging trends in the field, ‘ said Kondapi. the platform for the last year.
In addition to training professionals in the field, the platform also works for Covid patients who recovered. By collaborating with hospitals and doctors, the platform helps through referral Covid patients with breathing exercises and also connect them with experts on simple exercises to be performed at home.

We also liaise with the student community to help them get jobs or to offer them as our internal consultants on our platform, ”Kondapi said, adding that the BornPhysio platform has been on board since the launch of 600 physiotherapists.
The parent company, the first product of Startoon Labs, Pheeze, helps with physical therapy sessions remotely from patients and through Bluetooth connectivity it can show the range of motion and track the patient’s muscle strength based on the data provided by the doctor is fed into the system. “With the use of this product, we intend to use tele-physiotherapy for patients in which the consultant can track the patients’ progress with our device,” Kondapi said. The company recently closed a round of financing and plans to raise more money soon.
