Jaipur. The people of the state are likely to get many concessions in the lockdown from June 8. On Sunday, a meeting of the State Council of Ministers chaired by CM Ashok Gehlot discussed the revised lockdown-2. Based on the suggestions of the ministers who came to the meeting, the Home Department will issue a detailed guideline today.
What will open and what will remain closed in Rajasthan is going to be decided on June 7. In the meeting chaired by CM Ashok Gehlot on Sunday, along with the situation of corona infection, the three-tier public discipline Modified Lockdown-2 i.e. Unlock-2 was discussed.
Market opening hours set to increase
In the meeting, the ministers have given suggestions to establish a proper balance for livelihood with survival. It is almost certain that the opening hours of markets in the state will be extended. Ministers have also given suggestions and consent regarding this in the meeting. Till now the timings of the markets which are open till 11 am is likely to be extended till 4 or 5 pm.
Weekend curfew may continue
The weekend curfew is likely to continue for another week. While the ban is likely to continue on wedding ceremonies, cinema halls, and religious places, relaxation can be given for morning walks till 8 am. Public transport can be made smooth from June 10. However, the final decision on all these points is to be taken by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Discussion on the danger of black fungus
The danger of black fungus was also discussed in the meeting. While the Council of Ministers accused the Central Government of inadequate supply of black fungus medicine, it also emphasized more coordinated efforts with the Central Government in this regard. The Chief Minister has also asked to contact various companies at the state level.
