Niti Aayog always evaluates the performance of states based on various parameters like social, economical, and environmental. This was initially launched in the year 2018. Now, as per their latest data report, the state of Uttarakhand is the worst performing state and it has the lowest child sex ratio. The National average data is 899 and the worst-performing state ratio is at 840.

The state of Chattisgarh is the best-performing state with a solid ratio standing at 958 and it is also higher than the National Average. The second-best state behind the state of Chattisgarh is kerala and it has a sex ratio of 957 as per the statistical data reports. The states of punjab and haryana also showed some solid progress than before under this category.

The state of haryana stands with 843 females per 1000 males and punjab has now reached 890 in the index. In the 3rd edition of the SDG Index, kerala stays at first rank by grabbing a score of 75 followed by two states in the second rank with scores of 74. The two states are none other than himachal pradesh and tamil Nadu. bihar is the worst performing state with a paltry score of just 52.
