KSI Suggests He's the 'Best Boxer in the World' After Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather Fight

YouTube star KSI has hailed himself the "best boxer in the word" after Logan Paul went head to head with Floyd Mayweather on Sunday night.

The exhibition match, which had no official winner, garnered excitement ahead of the showcase with fans hoping to see a knockout.

Despite the online hype and a very intense pre-match face-off, Paul went all eight rounds with Mayweather at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The fight marked the third time the social media giant has stepped into the ring.

Paul previously fought fellow YouTuber KSI in 2018, with the contest ending in a draw.

In a dramatic 2019 re-match, Paul was defeated as his opponent was declared the winner by split decision.

KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, took to social media to weigh in on his former rival's showdown against boxing legend Mayweather.

"So...You're saying I'm now the best boxer in the world?" he wrote on Twitter.

The tweet earned approval from fans of the YouTube giant, who agreed that as Paul lasted until the final bell and Olatunji beat Paul in 2019 he technically takes the title.

User @BlueToffee11 wrote: "Ksi casually waking up to find out he's the best boxer of all time."

"You are basically the best boxer now.... You beat Logan and Mayweather couldn't," @TY4Coming29 tweeted.

@Shellyyy_28 added: "LOGAN DIDN'T WIN, BUT HE SURVIVED! WHICH MAKES @KSI THE BEST BOXER OF ALL TIME! #FloydvsLogan."

"Since it was a draw that make @KSI the best boxer in the world now?" @yousafsabir_ asked.

Others went on to reference Olatunji's near-knockdown as further evidence he is now the best boxer in the world.

During the YouTube clash in 2019, Olatunji delivered a punch that brought Paul to his knees.

Although the blow was not counted by the referee, critics argued that as Olatunji hit Paul behind the ear, not behind the head as initially thought, it should have counted as an official knockdown.

User @ItsYaBoyEdwin explained: "This makes KSI the best boxer alive because he's the only fighter to knockdown Logan."

Paul and Mayweather's showcase garnered a mixed response online, with many disappointed the fight was drawn out the full eight rounds.

Former boxing professional Mayweather admitted the social media star was better than he thought at the end of the fight.

"I had fun. You've got to realize I'm not 21 anymore. He's better than I thought he was," Mayweather said.

Paul declared it an honor to step into the ring with Mayweather, whose professional record sits at 50-0.

"I don't want anyone to tell me anything is impossible ever again," Paul said. "Everyone has it in them. Floyd Mayweather, it was an honor."

He went on to add that he would go home questioning if Floyd let him survive, something he hailed the "coolest thing ever."
